Features of the Alexandrite Floor Plan

The Alexandrite is our most popular floor plan.  It features high ceilings, open floor plan with a great room concept.  Large kitchen with island for seating and a large dining area off the kitchen large enough to seat 8 or more.

The family room boasts of lots of windows and a gas direct vent fireplace.  The home has 4 bedrooms.  3 on the upper level and 1 on the main level.  The main level bedroom could be used as an office. 

The master bedroom is large with either a window or a sliding door & deck.  It has a tray ceiling and the master bath can have either a jetted tub and 4 foot shower or a large 5 foot shower with double shower head and a linen closet.  It has double sinks and a large closet.  The arrangement with the shower also has a seperate room for the toilet.  the jetted tub arrangement does not.  The toilet is seperated by a 1/2 wall.

The 2 additional bedrooms are a good size and one has a walk in closet.  The main bath has a single sink and nice tile surround with accent tile to add some interest. It has different ceiling detail in the bedrooms too, depending on the plan.

It is a great plan.  We can even add a basement to this plan if you need more room.  It is very versitile.

We usually put Corian Countertops in the kitchen, wood laminate flooring in the entry, hallway, kitchen and dining room.  Vinyl flooring in the bathrooms and the laundry room.

Carpeting with an 8 pound pad would make up the other floor surfaces.  The garage is large and deep enough for a big truck.  We also put in a personal entry door in the garage along with a drain and seal the floor.
